Lane-Keeping Assist System

C1A21 - Object Recognition Camera

DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives information that there is a malfunction in the object recognition camera, DTC C1A20 is stored.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA

(a) Replace the object recognition camera Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA

(a) Adjust the object recognition camera Adjustments.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

(1) Drive the vehicle at a 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.

(b) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC C1A21 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU

OK -- END (OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA IS DEFECTIVE)

4. REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU

(a) Replace the object recognition ECU Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

5. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA

(a) Adjust the object recognition camera Adjustments.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

6. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
