DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU uses the front millimeter wave radar sensor to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle. Based on this information, the driving support ECU sends pre-collision control operation signals.

When the driving support ECU receives information that there is a malfunction in the front millimeter wave radar sensor, DTC C1A10 is output.

This DTC is also output from the dynamic radar cruise control system.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When the front millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the front sensor beam axis must be performed Adjustments.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR

(a) Replace the front millimeter wave radar sensor Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. ADJUST FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR

(a) Adjust the front millimeter wave radar sensor Adjustments.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU

(a) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code /

(b) Select "Clear" and clear the data.

(c) Recheck for DTC.

OK:

DTC C1A10 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU Removal

OK -- END
