DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the combination meter assembly. If the driving support ECU cannot store the country specification information, DTC C1A02 is stored.

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Use the Data List to check if the country specification information is correct Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.

OK:

Country specification information for driving support ECU and vehicle match.

NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU AND COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

(1) Drive the vehicle at a 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.

(b) Check for DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC C1A02 is not output.
