C1642 - Accelerator Sensor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the accelerator sensor (connected via CAN communication) is malfunctioning, this DTC is output.

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

Result





HINT
- The DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the SFI system.
- If troubleshooting and repair of the malfunction in the SFI system has been completed, DTC C1642 will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.
- If DTC C1642 is stored frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
