PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ADVANCED PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM: C162A: Vehicle Height Sensor Malfunction (CAN)
DESCRIPTION
When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the headlight swivel ECU (AFS ECU) (connected to the parking assist ECU via CAN communication) receives a height control sensor malfunction signal from the suspension control ECU*1 or height control sensor LH*2, this DTC is output.

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
Result
HINT
- The DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the lighting system.
- If troubleshooting and repair of the malfunction in the lighting system has been completed, DTC C162A will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.
- If DTC C162A is stored frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
