B2250 - Back Door Closer Operation Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

* "Back door" refers to the luggage compartment door.

* DTC B2250 is output when there is a malfunction in the closer motor position switch, courtesy switch, or pawl switch of the luggage compartment door closer assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the luggage compartment door closer.

Back Door (Luggage closer motor assembly)





OK:

On tester screen, each item changes between ON and OFF as shown in above chart.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER - LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR AND BODY GROUND)

OK -- REPLACE LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY Removal

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER - LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the S36 closer connector.

(b) Disconnect the S43 motor connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER (OPERATION)

(a) Temporarily replace the luggage compartment door closer with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC

(a) Delete the DTCs Power Trunk Lid System.

(b) Recheck for DTCs Power Trunk Lid System.
