B2250 - Back Door Closer Operation Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

HINT
"Back door" refers to the luggage compartment door.

DTC B2250 is output if the rotary or pawl switch of the luggage compartment door closer has a malfunction, and the luggage door closer operation does not complete within the specified time.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the luggage compartment door closer.

Body No. 4 (Rear junction block ECU)





OK:

On the screen, each item changes between ON and OFF as shown in above chart.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER - REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU AND BODY GROUND)

OK -- REPLACE LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER - REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the S36 closer connector.

(b) Disconnect the S63 ECU connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CLOSER (OPERATION)

(a) Temporarily replace the luggage compartment door closer with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC

(a) Delete the DTCs Luggage Compartment Door Closer System.

(b) Recheck for DTCs Luggage Compartment Door Closer System.
