Pre-Collision System (w/o Driver Monitor Camera)

PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM (w/o Driver Monitor Camera): B2090: Driving Support System Malfunction
B2090 - Driving Support System Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The seat belt control ECU receives collision information from the driving support ECU and skid control ECU via CAN communication, and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor inside the front seat outer belt assembly.

When the driving support ECU detects a malfunction in the dynamic radar cruise control system, lane-keeping assist system, and pre-collision system ("Pre-Collision 2" part), or detects that the object recognition camera has not been adjusted, the malfunction information is sent to the seat belt control ECU, which outputs this DTC.

When DTC B2090 is detected, other DTCs output by the driving support ECU (dynamic radar cruise control system, and pre-collision 2 also are output.
