DESCRIPTION
The display and navigation module display and disc player assembly are connected by the MOST communication line.
When a MOST communication error occurs between the display and navigation module display and disc player assembly, these DTCs will be stored.
HINT
For the MOST network, the display and navigation module display is the master unit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)
(a) Check that optional components (including associated wiring) which generate radio waves are not installed.
Result
HINT
* Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect MOST communication.
* This DTC may be stored when a MOST communication error occurs due to electrical noise.
B -- CHECK FOR DTC
A -- Continue to next step.
2. REMOVE OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)
(a) Remove optional components (including associated wiring).
NOTICE:
Do not remove optional components or associated wiring without the permission of the customer.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK:
No DTCs are output.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
OK -- END
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the D*1 or R64*2 disc player assembly connector.
*1: for 4-Passenger with Ottoman
*2: except 4-Passenger with Ottoman
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for 4-Passenger with Ottoman
except 4-Passenger with Ottoman
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
for 4-Passenger with Ottoman
except 4-Passenger with Ottoman

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER - DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY)
(a) for 4-Passenger with Ottoman:
(1) Disconnect the R16 disc player assembly connector.
(2) Disconnect the L115 display and navigation module display connector.
(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(b) except 4-Passenger with Ottoman:
(1) Disconnect the R64 disc player assembly connector.
(2) Disconnect the L115 display and navigation module display connector.
(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
*1: except 4-Passenger with Ottoman
*2: for 4-Passenger with Ottoman
(a) Disconnect the R64*1 or D*2 disc player assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the R62*1 or R59*2 television assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

for 4-Passenger with Ottoman

7. REPLACE DISC PLAYER ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily replace the disc player assembly with a new or normally functioning.
(1) Refer to replacement of disc player (except 4-Passenger with Ottoman) Removal.
(2) Refer to replacement of disc player (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman) Removal.
(b) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(c) Check for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK:
No DTCs are output.
NG -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal
OK -- END
8. INSPECT REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear seat console box assembly Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
