2UR-GSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER (for Port Injection): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY (for Port Injection)

(a) Temporarily install the 2 fuel pressure pulsation damper assemblies together with 4 new gaskets and the fuel tube sub-assembly.

(b) Using SST, tighten the 2 fuel pressure pulsation damper assemblies.

without SST - Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26 ft-lbf)

HINT
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).
* Make sure that SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

(c) Install the wire harness with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(d) Connect the 4 connectors.

(e) Install the wire harness with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(f) Connect the 4 connectors.

2. INSTALL NO. 3 FUEL HOSE Installation

3. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY Installation

5. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE Installation

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

10. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

11. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

12. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Fuel System

13. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

14. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

15. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

16. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

17. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
