2UR-GSE LUBRICATION: ENGINE OIL COOLER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL COOLER

(a) Clean the oil cooler contact surface on the cooler mounting.

(b) Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring.

(c) Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler.





(d) Install the oil cooler with the union bolt, bolt and new gasket.

Union Bolt - Torque : 59 Nm (602 kgf-cm, 43 ft-lbf)

Bolt - Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(e) Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses.





2. ADD ENGINE OIL Replacement

3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

4. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL Testing and Inspection

5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

6. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
