DOOR LOCK: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK: REMOVAL

1. SET LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR Removal

2. ROOF HALF-OPEN Removal

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (w/ Spare Tire) Removal

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

5. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL CUSHION (w/ Spare Tire) Removal

6. REMOVE SPARE TIRE (w/ Spare Tire)

7. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

8. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH Removal

9. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH Removal

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR Removal

11. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal

13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the pin from the luggage compartment door lock assembly as shown in the illustration.

(d) Disengage the 2 control cable clamps and disconnect the luggage door control cable assembly from the compartment door lock assembly.

(e) Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door lock assembly.
