Installation

2GR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

(a) Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the crankshaft position sensor.

(b) Install the crankshaft position sensor with the bolt.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the crankshaft position sensor connector.

2. INSTALL COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (for 2WD) Installation

3. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (for 4WD) Installation

4. INSTALL DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE Installation

6. INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Installation

7. INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET (for 4WD) Installation

8. FULLY TIGHTEN COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (for 4WD) Installation

9. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation

10. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 2WD)

11. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

12. INSTALL NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER Installation

13. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

14. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

15. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair

16. CHECK FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

17. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
