Replacement

AXLE: FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT: REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

2. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT DISC Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT

(a) Using SST, remove the front axle hub bolt.





SST : 09628-10011

NOTICE:
Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

6. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT

(a) Install the washer and nut to a new bolt as shown in the illustration.





(b) Using a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the hub, turn the wheel nut to pull the hub bolt until the bottom surface of the hub bolt head touches the axle hub.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

7. INSTALL FRONT DISC Reassembly

8. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Installation

10. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Torque : 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
