4GR-FSE FUEL: FUEL RELIEF VALVE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY





(a) Install a new gasket to the fuel relief valve assembly.

(b) Using a union nut wrench (17 mm), install the the fuel relief valve assembly to the No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.

Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Do not apply oil to the threads of the fuel relief valve assembly and No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.
* Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during installation.
* Use the torque value compensation formula to calculate the torque value for use when a torque wrench is combined with a tool such as a union nut wrench Service Precautions.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Fuel System
