INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
* Because the order of diagnosis is important to allow correct diagnosis, make sure to begin troubleshooting using How to Proceed with Troubleshooting when CAN communication system related DTCs are output How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.
* After performing repairs, perform the procedure listed in DTC Reproduction Method and confirm that the DTCs are not output again.
* DTC Reproduction Method: Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 10 seconds.
* After the repair, perform CAN Bus Check and check that all the ECUs and sensors connected to the CAN communication system are displayed Diagnosis System.
* For Gateway ECU Communication Stop Mode, an open in a main bus line may be the cause. Check that the main bus lines are normal before performing the following diagnosis procedure How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BATT, ACC, IG, GND)
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Disconnect the gateway ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE GATEWAY ECU
