INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* Because the order of diagnosis is important to allow correct diagnosis, make sure to begin troubleshooting using How to Proceed with Troubleshooting when CAN communication system related DTCs are output How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.
* After performing repairs, perform the procedure listed in DTC Reproduction Method and confirm that the DTCs are not output again.
* DTC Reproduction Method: Drive the vehicle at a speed of 60 km/h (38 mph) or more for at least 2 seconds.
* After the repair, perform CAN Bus Check and check that all the ECUs and sensors connected to the CAN communication system are displayed Diagnosis System.
* For ECM Communication Stop Mode, an open in a main bus line may be the cause. Check that the main bus lines are normal before performing the following diagnosis procedure How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK ECM POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT

(a) Check the ECM power source circuit (2GR-FSE: ECM Power Source Circuit, 4GR-FSE: ECM Power Source Circuit).

HINT
If there is no abnormality in the ECM power source circuit, replace the ECM.
