Removal

AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for 2GR-FSE) Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for 4GR-FSE) Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (for 2GR-FSE) Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (for 4GR-FSE) Removal

6. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FSE) Removal

7. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 4GR-FSE) Removal

8. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

9. REMOVE NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER (for 2GR-FSE) Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER (for 4GR-FSE) Removal

11. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Removal

13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Removal

15. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FSE) Removal

16. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for 4GR-FSE) Removal

17. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 2GR-FSE) Removal

18. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 4GR-FSE) Removal

19. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

20. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

21. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and cooler condenser assembly.





22. REMOVE COOLER DRYER

(a) Using a straight hexagon wrench 14 mm, remove the cap from the modulator.





(b) Using pliers, remove the cooler dryer.
