Installation

ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Pass the cable into the engine compartment.

(b) Pass the cable rear side through the grommet until the cable stopper is attached to the grommet.

(c) Pass the cable front side through the upper radiator support.

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the hood lock control lever and connect the hood lock control cable.

(b) Attach the 3 claws.

3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

(b) Connect the hood lock control cable and connector.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(d) Install a new hood lock nut cap.

4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Attach the claw and install the hood lock cable cover.

(b) Install the 3 screws.

5. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Testing and Inspection

7. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Adjustments

8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Installation

10. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR Installation

11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Installation

12. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

13. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIM Adjustments

14. PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING Adjustments

15. FOG LIGHT AIMING INSPECTION Adjustments

16. FOG LIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT Adjustments
