DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a microphone signal from the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) to the display and navigation module display.
It also supplies power from the display and navigation module display to the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
(a) Disconnect the J100 display and navigation module display connector.
(b) Disconnect the R5 map light assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
(a) Reconnect the J100 display and navigation module display connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

3. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

4. REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY
(a) Replace the telephone microphone assembly Removal.
NOTICE:
The connector of the telephone microphone assembly is too small to be inspected. Therefore, after replacing the telephone microphone assembly, inspect it using the connector of the map light assembly.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
