SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Removal

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Removal

10. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly LH.





11. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly RH.





12. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

14. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER

(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder cover.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the other 2 rear seat shoulder covers.

15. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT SET (w/o Rear Sunshade) Removal

16. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade)

(a) Disengage the 3 clips.





(b) Disengage the 5 guides and remove the package tray trim panel assembly as shown in the illustration.

17. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade) Removal

18. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts.

(c) Disengage the guide and remove the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly.
