APPLICABILITY:

INTRODUCTION:

Some 2011-2012 CT2OOh vehicles may exhibit a MIL "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P2111 (Throttle Actuator Control System) and POAOF (Engine Failed to Start) present when ambient temperatures are below -5°C (23°F) A new intake manifold assembly is now available to improve this condition.

REQUIRED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Use Techstream to check for DICs and confirm the condition per the introduction.

2. Remove and replace the intake manifold with the updated part Refer to the ETAS/TIS library applicable model year CT 200h Repair Manual:

^ 2011-2012 CT200h:

Engine/Hybrid System - Intake/Exhaust - "2ZR-FXE Intake/Exhaust: intake Manifold: Removal / Installation"

3. Clear the DTCs and verify normal vehicle operation
