HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: FRAME WIRE: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRAME WIRE
CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves.
NOTICE:
Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.
(a) Install the frame wire with the 4 clamps.
(b) Insert the frame wire into the floor panel hole.

HINT
The arrow should be pointing toward the front of the vehicle.
(c) Install the nut.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(d) Install the nut and clamp.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(e) Install the nut and 2 clamps.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(f) Install the heater water pipe sub-assembly with the nut.
Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
(g) Connect the 4 clamps.
(h) Connect the connector to the engine room junction block assembly.
(i) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the floor panel.
(j) Install the wire harness protector and connect the clamp to the floor panel.
2. INSTALL INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation
3. CONNECT HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves.
(a) Install the frame wire on the hybrid battery junction block assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque : 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the clamp and frame wire.
NOTICE:
* Make sure that the ends of the frame wire are not crossed over each other.
* Be sure to connect the ends of the frame wire to the connect terminals.
4. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION Installation
5. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
(a) Connect the 4 wire harness clamps.
(b) Connect the clamp.
(c) Install the nut, and connect the clamp.
Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
(d) Install the terminal cover.
6. INSTALL UPPER HYBRID BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY EXHAUST DUCT Installation
8. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT Installation
9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER Installation
10. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD SHEET Installation
11. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD Installation
12. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
14. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side Installation.
15. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side Installation.
16. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
Installation.
17. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE REAR RH
(a) Install the front suspension member brace rear RH with the 3 bolts.
Bolt A - Torque : 137 Nm (1397 kgf-cm, 101 ft-lbf)
Bolt B - Torque : 93 Nm (948 kgf-cm, 69 ft-lbf)
18. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER RH (w/ Cover)
(a) Install the front center floor cover RH with the 3 clips.
19. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (w/ Cover)
(a) Install the front floor cover RH with the 4 clips.
(b) Install the bolt.
20. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
(a) Install the No. 1 front floor heat insulator with the 3 nuts.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
21. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Removal.).
22. INSTALL INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
Installation.).
23. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer) Installation
24. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer) Installation
