PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

Removal

2. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for Corner Sensor)

(a) for LH Side:

(1) Disconnect the connector.





(2) Disengage the clamp.





(3) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor assembly.

(b) for RH Side:

(1) Disconnect the connector.





(2) Disengage the clamp.





(3) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor assembly.

3. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (for Corner Sensor)

(a) for LH Side:

(1) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

(b) for RH Side:

(1) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Corner Sensor)

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper assembly.





5. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for Back Sensor)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the clamp.





(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor assembly.

6. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (for Back Sensor)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Back Sensor)

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper assembly.
