Reassembly





1UR-FSE COOLING: COOLING FAN MOTOR (for 2WD): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR





Install the motor with the 3 screws.

Torque : 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf)





Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLING FAN MOTOR





Install the motor with the 3 screws.

Torque : 2.6 Nm (27 kgf-cm, 23 in-lbf)





Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN





Install the fan with the nut.

Torque : 6.3 Nm (64 kgf-cm, 56 in-lbf)

4. INSTALL NO. 1 FAN





Install the fan with the nut.

Torque : 6.3 Nm (64 kgf-cm, 56 in-lbf)

5. CHECK COOLING FAN MOTOR OPERATION

(a) Check the No. 1 and No. 2 cooling fan motor operation.

(1) Check that the fan rotates smoothly by hand.





Connect the battery to the fan motor connector.





Check that the fan rotates smoothly, and check the motor rotation direction.

NOTICE:
Make sure there are no malfunction noises or vibrations while the motor is rotating.

HINT
Be careful if the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery are mistakenly connected to the connector in reverse, as the motor will operate in the opposite direction.
