REAR SUSPENSION: REAR SHOCK ABSORBER: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that rear shock absorber oil is not seeping or leaking from the sliding parts of the rod of the rear shock absorber assembly.

(b) Extend and compress the rod of the rear shock absorber assembly.





Standard:

The rear shock absorber assembly can be extended and compressed at a constant speed with an even load throughout the entire stroke without any abnormal resistance or noise.

If there is any abnormality, replace the rear shock absorber assembly with a new one.
