REAR SUSPENSION: REAR SHOCK ABSORBER: DISPOSAL

1. DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

(a) Fully extend the rod of the rear shock absorber assembly.





(b) Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder somewhere between A and B, as shown in the illustration, to discharge the gas inside.

NOTICE:
Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about. Always use proper safety equipment.

HINT
The gas is colorless, odorless and non-poisonous.
