BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: FRONT SPEED SENSOR: INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
* The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
* If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the front axle hub sub-assembly.

1. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front axle hub sub-assembly Installation.

HINT
* The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
* If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the front axle hub sub-assembly.

2. INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS Front Axle Hub

3. INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB RUNOUT Front Axle Hub

4. INSTALL FRONT DISC (for Opposed Type Caliper) Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT DISC (for Floating Type Caliper) Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY Replacement

7. CONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR WIRE

(a) Connect the front speed sensor wire to the front speed sensor.

NOTICE:
Do not twist the front speed sensor wire.





8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

10. INSPECT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
