BRAKE CONTROL: FRONT SPEED SENSOR (for 2WD): INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedures listed below are the LH side.
* The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
* The sensor rotor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.

1. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

2. INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING FOR LOOSENESS Front Axle Hub

3. INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB FOR RUNOUT Front Axle Hub

4. INSTALL FRONT DISC Reassembly

5. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY Installation

6. CONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR

(a) Connect the speed sensor connector.

NOTICE:
Do not twist the sensor wire.





7. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Torque : 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

8. INSPECT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL

Test Mode Procedure
