1. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE INPUT SHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Using a screwdriver with the tip taped, remove the oil seal.

3. INSTALL INPUT SHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Coat a lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.





(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal.

SST : 09388-40010

Oil seal driven in depth:

1.0 to 1.8 mm (0.0394 to 0.0709 in.)

NOTICE:
* Ensure that no foreign matter adheres to the oil seal lip.
* Ensure that the oil seal is not at an angle.
