EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT SPOILER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER

HINT
When installing the front spoiler cover, heat the front bumper using a heat light.

Heating Temperature





NOTICE:
Do not heat the front bumper excessively.

(a) Install the grommet.

(b) Clean the front bumper surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(c) Install the front spoiler cover.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper and front spoiler cover.

(2) Remove the release paper from the front spoiler cover.

HINT
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(3) Install a new front spoiler cover with the screw and 6 clips.

(4) Install the 5 front spoiler No. 2 retainers.

2. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER LH

HINT
When installing the front spoiler cover LH, heat the front bumper using a heat light.

NOTICE:
Do not heat the front bumper excessively.

(a) Clean the front bumper surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Install the front spoiler cover LH.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper and front spoiler cover LH.

(2) Remove the release paper from the front spoiler cover LH.

HINT
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(3) Install a new spoiler cover LH with the 6 front spoiler No. 1 retainers and 2 clips.

3. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front bumper assembly Installation.
