Power Source Circuit
PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: Power Source Circuit
- Power Source Circuit
DESCRIPTION
This circuit supplies power to the seat belt control ECU.
HINT
There may be a malfunction in the power source circuit if either: 1) neither DTCs nor "normal system" codes are output but the pre-collision system is not functioning normally; or 2) DTCs are not output and a "normal system" code is output, but the pre-collision system is not functioning normally.

(a) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
(b) Disconnect the seat belt control ECU connector.
(c) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
(e) Reconnect the seat belt control ECU connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (BATTERY - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT)
(a) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
(b) Disconnect the seat belt control ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
(d) Reconnect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
(e) Reconnect the seat belt control ECU connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
