INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Check for DTCs.

HINT
If CAN No.2 bus DTC U1002 is output, troubleshoot for U1002 and check for malfunctions in the CAN main bus circuit.

B -- GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU SUB BUS LINE)

(a) Turn the engine switch off.

(b) Disconnect the front active stabilizer control ECU connector (A49).





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU SUB BUS LINE OR CONNECTOR (CAN-H, CAN-L)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IG, PGND)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard resistance:





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
