DESCRIPTION

- The absorber control ECU inputs the signals from the steering control ECU via CAN communication.

- The fail-safe function prohibits roll posture control if any malfunction occurs in the steering control ECU Fail-Safe Chart.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

(b) Turn the engine switch off.

(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) again and check that no CAN communication system DTC is output.

(d) Start the engine.

(e) Drive the vehicle and turn the steering wheel to the right and left at the speed of 24 mph (35 km/h) to check that a DTC is output Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
