DESCRIPTION





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Pre-Collision System.
* When the distance control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Installation.

PROCEDURE

1. INITIALIZE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream main switch on, and turn the cruise control main switch on.

(d) Select "Connect to Vehicle".

(e) Select each item on the display screen and proceed to the next screen.

(f) Under "System Selection Menu", select "Radar Cruise".

(g) Select "Utility".

(h) Select "Beam Axis Adjustment" and proceed to the next screen.

(i) Check that the buzzer sounds.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Clear the DTC Pre-Collision System.

(b) Wait for 60 seconds.

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC B2065 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU

OK -- END

3. REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU

(a) Replace the distance control ECU Removal.

(b) Initialize the distance control ECU Installation.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Clear the DTC Pre-Collision System.

(b) Wait for 60 seconds.

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC B2065 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

OK -- END
