APPLICABILITY:
INTRODUCTION:
Some vehicles may exhibit a center console lid that is difficult to close and/or will not latch. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to address this condition.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown below.

REQUIRED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. If the center console lid is difficult to close and/or will not latch, replace the center console corn partment door lock sub-assembly
2. Remove the console compartment door lock sub-assembly
A. Remove the 2 screws.
B. Using a plastic pry tool, disengage the 12 claws and 2 guides, and remove the console compartment door lock sub-assembly from the inner console compartment door.
3. Replace the door lock sub-assembly.
A. Engage the 2 guides to install the NEW console compartment door lock sub-assembly to the inner console compartment door.
B. Engage the 2 guides and 12 claws to install the console compartment door lock sub-assembly and inner console compartment door.
C. Install the 2 screws.
4. Verify the repair.
