DESCRIPTION

The display image signal*1 from the navigation computer sub-assembly is sent to the multi-display using a digital communication cable.

* *1: Except DVD image signal for vehicles with DVD changer.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE CONNECTOR

(a) Check digital communication cable connector

(1) Check if the digital communication cable connectors between the navigation computer sub-assembly and the multi-display have any connection problems Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.

NG -- REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE WIRE

OK -- END

2. REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE WIRE

(a) Replace the multi-media module wire Disassembly.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.

NG -- REPLACE WIRE HARNESS (DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE)

OK -- END

3. REPLACE WIRE HARNESS (DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE)

(a) Replace the digital communication cable between the navigation computer sub-assembly and the multi-media module wire.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.

NG -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY

OK -- END

4. REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY

(a) Replace the multi-display Disassembly.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.
