DESCRIPTION

The display signal*1 from the display and navigation module display is sent to the parking assist ECU using a digital communication cable.

*1: Except DVD image signal for vehicles with DVD player.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE CONNECTOR

(a) Check digital communication cable connector

(1) Check if the digital communication cable connectors between the display and navigation module display and the parking assist ECU have any connection problems Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.

NG -- REPLACE WIRE HARNESS (DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE)

OK -- END

2. REPLACE WIRE HARNESS (DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE)

(a) Replace the digital communication cable between the display and navigation module display and the parking assist ECU.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.

NG -- REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU

OK -- END

3. REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU

(a) Replace the parking assist ECU Removal.

(b) Check that the screen display is normal.

OK:

Screen display is normal.

NG -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table
