How To Proceed With Troubleshooting





PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

* Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the parking assist monitor system.
* *: Use the Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE

(a) Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

3. CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM

(a) Refer to the navigation system How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.

4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

5. CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output Parking Assist Monitor System.

(b) Clear the DTCs Parking Assist Monitor System.

(c) Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
