DESCRIPTION

When a new driving support ECU is installed, it receives vehicle specification information (destination, steering wheel position, 2WD or AWD information, etc.) from the main body ECU and power management control ECU and memorizes the information.

DTC C1A02 is stored when the driving support ECU receives the vehicle specification information from the main body ECU but cannot record it.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT
This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTCs Diagnosis System.

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

CAN communication system DTC is not output.
