36. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT (OPEN)
(a) Connect the connectors that link the floor wire and front door wire LH.
(b) Using SST, connect terminals 2 (BDL+) and 1 (BDL-) of connector E.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly insert SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting.
SST : 09843-18040
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

37. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT (SHORT)
(a) Disconnect SST from connector E.

38. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT (SHORT TO B+)
(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

39. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND)
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

40. CHECK NO. 2 SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Connect the connector to the side airbag sensor assembly LH and door side airbag sensor LH.
(b) Interchange the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
(d) Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(f) Turn the power switch off.
(g) Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(h) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

41. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(c) Return the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors.
(d) Interchange the door side airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors.
(e) Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
(f) Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(g) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(h) Turn the power switch off.
(i) Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(j) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

42. CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(c) Return the door side airbag sensor LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors.
(d) Interchange the side airbag sensor assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.
(e) Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
(f) Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(g) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(h) Turn the power switch off.
(i) Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(j) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

43. CHECK CONNECTORS
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(c) Check that the connectors are properly connected to the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH and door side airbag sensor LH. Also check that the connectors that link the floor wire and front door wire LH are properly connected.
OK:
The connectors are properly connected.
HINT
If the connectors are not connected securely, reconnect the connectors and proceed to the next inspection.
(d) Disconnect the connectors from the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH and door side airbag sensor LH. Also disconnect the connectors that link the floor wire and front door wire LH.
(e) Check that the terminals of the connectors are not damaged.
OK:
The terminals are not deformed or damaged.
NG -- REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
OK -- Continue to next step.
44. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT (OPEN)
(a) Connect the connectors that link the floor wire and front door wire LH.
(b) Using SST, connect terminals 2 (BDL+) and 1 (BDL-) of connector E.
NOTICE:
