Installation





SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
* A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

NOTICE:
Do not disassemble the retractor.

(a) Install the retractor with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf for upper bolt)

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf for lower bolt)

(b) Connect the pretensioner connector.

(c) Install the seat belt anchors built-in bolt to the center body pillar inner.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT LH

(a) Install the quarter trim panel with the 6 screws and clips.

(b) Install the front seat belt hole cover.

(c) for Passenger Side:

Attach the connector and clamp.

(d) Install the seat belt anchors built-in bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(e) Install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

3. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH Reassembly

4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE Installation

7. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER Installation

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Installation

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
