3UZ-FE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY





(a) Install 4 new gaskets and 2 pulsation dampers together with the No. 2 fuel pipe to the delivery pipe.

(b) Using SST, tighten the 2 pulsation dampers.

Torque : 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf for use with SST)

Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf for use without SST)

HINT
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.)
* Make sure SST and a wrench are connected in a straight line.
(c) Install the bolt to the No. 2 fuel pipe clamp.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(d) Using a union nut wrench, install the fuel pipe.





Torque : 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf for use with union nut wrench)

Torque : 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26 ft-lbf for use without union nut wrench)

HINT
* Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).
* Make sure a union nut wrench and a wrench are connected in a straight line.
2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Installation

3. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

6. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS Installation

7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation
