Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

3UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

(f) Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

Standard Voltage:





(f) If the Techstream is not available, measure the voltage between the terminals (VPA - EPA, VPA2 - EPA2) of the ECM connector Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters.
