DESCRIPTION
When the brake pedal signal is received from the luggage room junction block ECU, the stop light illuminates.

INSEPCTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (STOP LIGHT)
(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the stop light illuminates.

OK:

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (STOP LIGHT)
(a) Remove the rear combination light.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light connector and check that the stop light illuminates.
OK:
NG -- REPLACE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the 6L junction block connector.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT - ECU AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the R6*1 or R7*2 light connector.

*2: RH
(b) Disconnect the L23 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
LH
RH
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
