DESCRIPTION

The luggage room junction block ECU receives taillight switch information from the combination switch, and illuminates the rear side marker light.

INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR SIDE MARKER LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the rear side marker light.

(b) Apply battery voltage to the rear side marker light connector and check that the rear side marker illuminates.

OK:





NG -- REPLACE REAR SIDE MARKER LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BATTERY)





(a) Disconnect the 6L junction block connector.

(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT - ECU AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the R8*1 or R9*2 light connector.

HINT
*1: LH

*2: RH

(b) Disconnect the L23 ECU connector.

(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance:

RH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
