INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (TRIP SWITCH)

(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the TRIP switch.

Combination meter





OK:

ON (switch is pressed) is displayed on the tester.

OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
NG -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT TRIP SWITCH





(a) Remove the trip switch.

(b) Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE TRIP SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (METER - SWITCH)





(a) Disconnect the C8 meter connector.

(b) Disconnect the T14 switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
