Installation

CONVERTIBLE: PACKAGE TRAY TRIM: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM LINK MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the motor with the 2 bolts, then connect the connector.

(b) Install the 2 drive cables.

(c) Attach the 2 clips of the drive cable.

2. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM BRACKET

(a) Install the bracket with the 2 bolts.

3. INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS WEATHERSTRIP CENTER





(a) Install the weatherstrip to the package tray trim panel.

4. INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS WEATHERSTRIP RH





(a) Install the weatherstrip to the package tray trim panel.

5. INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH

HINT
Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

6. INSTALL SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH





(a) Install the limit switch with the 2 screws.

(b) Install the protector with the bolt.

7. INSTALL SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH





(a) Install the limit switch with the 2 screws.

(b) install the protector with the bolt.

8. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER





(a) Install the panel so that the 4 nuts are in the marked positions.

HINT
When replacing the bracket, install it by correctly aligning it with the marks on the panel.

9. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM UNDER COVER





(a) Install the cover with the 9 screws.

10. INSTALL NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the panel No. 2 so that the 2 nuts are in the marked positions.

HINT
When replacing the bracket, install it by correctly positioning to the marks on the side board.

11. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the panel so that the 2 nuts are in the marked positions.

HINT
When replacing the bracket, install it by correctly positioning to the marks on the side board.

12. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM ASSEMBLY





(a) Temporarily install the tray trim with the 6 bolts.

HINT
Use the shims stored during removal.

(b) Fully open the roof panel.

(c) Close the luggage door.

(d) Move the package tray trim back and forth to adjust its position.

Standard:

10.8 mm (0.45 in.)

(d) If the standard value is not satisfied, adjust the installation position of the side panel.

HINT
For vertical adjustment, change the number of the shims to be inserted.

(e) Open the luggage door from the front and set the package tray trim to an upright position.

(f) Tighten the 6 bolts.

13. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Attach the 4 clips labeled B to install the trim panel.

(b) Install the 6 screws and clip labeled A.

(c) Attach the 4 claws to install the belt garnish.

15. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Attach the claw and 5 clips to install the scuff plate.

(a) Fully close roof panel Manual Close Operation.

25. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

26. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
