AUDIO / VISUAL: AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM (w/ Navigation System for HDD): HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

* Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the audio and visual system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V

* If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. BASIC INSPECTION

(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(b) Check whether or not the radio receiver assembly turns on.

4. CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Refer to DTC Check/Clear of the navigation system Navigation System (for HDD).

After the check using the Techstream, check the "System Check Mode" screen as necessary.

5. DTC CLEAR*

(a) Refer to DTC Check/Clear of the navigation system Navigation System (for HDD).

HINT
The current DTCs may not indicate actual malfunctions depending on the vehicle operating conditions.

6. RECHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Refer to DTC Check/Clear of the navigation system Navigation System (for HDD).

* Even if the malfunction symptom is not confirmed, check for diagnostic trouble codes. This is because the system stores past diagnostic trouble codes.
* After the check using the Techstream, check the "System Check Mode" screen as necessary.
* Check the diagnostic trouble code and inspect the area code indicates.

7. DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

(a) Find the output code in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart Audio and Visual System (w/ Navigation System for HDD).

* The navigation system outputs DTCs for the following systems.
* When DTCs other than the codes in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the audio and visual system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the following system.
* Refer to Navigation System Navigation System (for HDD).

(a) Adjust, repair or replace as necessary.
