INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CELLULAR PHONE

(a) Check if the person on the other end of the phone line can be heard using a cellular phone.

OK:

Person can be heard.

NG -- REPLACE CELLULAR PHONE
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK SETTINGS

(a) Check if the volume is set to the minimum or maximum.

HINT
When the volume is set to the minimum or maximum setting, the sound may be distorted.

(b) Check if the MUTE switch is ON.

OK:

MUTE switch is not ON.

NG -- SET MUTE SWITCH CORRECTLY ADJUST VOLUME AND TURN MUTE SWITCH OFF
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK VOICE

(a) Check if the navigation voice can be heard.

OK:

Voice can be heard.

NG -- GO TO "VOICE GUIDANCE DOES NOT FUNCTION"

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
